Let’s change out our display!
Unplug the two cables coming off the back of the display … the display itself (green).
And the keypad (blue).
Using a 3mm Allen, undo the 4 bolts on the back of the mount.
There is a little rubber spacer behind the detachable mount pieces.
Just take them both off.
And it’s off the bike! Send back to the ZuGo team with the provided return label if it was requested.
To install the new Display, take your rubber spacers and get them ready on the bars.
Press the display up against the rubber with the wires coming out of the bottom.
Grab the mounting parts and your 3mm Allen. Press the mount against the rubber spacer.
Line up the m3 bolt with the hole on the display.
Tighten using the 3mm Allen, alternating between the 2. Keep them loose, but tight enough to bite the bar; 1nm is very little torque!
The pieces can go either way but we mount them in the same direction.
After the 4 screws are proper, pull the cables out from the bottom and over the
bar.
Plug the display in, green and green. Make sure the pins look good on both the male and female ends before connection. Line up the arrows and press them together. Never force the two cables.
Arrow to arrow, and bring together, never forcefully.
Next is to connect the keypad. Note, your display came with a keypad which you may not need, it should still be attached to the handlebars. If needed please see the guide for changing your keypad. Check the pins the same as the display, then arrow to arrow press the two cables together, never forcefully.
Press the power button on your keypad and it should be good to go!
